Dawson Partners, a specialized investment manager focused on providing structured liquidity solutions to private equity portfolios, announced that Leah Boyd has joined as General Counsel, Rob Gavin and Sean Connor have been promoted to Partner, and the organization has grown to 28 professionals.
Prior to joining Dawson, Leah spent over 10 years in private practice at Goodmans LLP, most recently as a Partner. Her experience includes advising on fund formation, investment activities, secondary transactions, acquisitions and divestitures. She holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Toronto.
Since our inception in 2015, Dawson has received a tremendous reception from the market. In less than two years, we have quadrupled the size of our organization from 7 to 28 professionals.
We are very pleased to have Leah join the Senior Leadership Team. We expect to leverage her significant experience executing on numerous private equity secondary transactions.
We are also delighted to announce the promotion of Rob Gavin and Sean Connor to Partner. Both individuals have had a tremendous impact since joining Dawson in early 2016.
