Dawson Partners announced the expansion of its global capital raising platform into Asia with the opening of a Hong Kong office. The Firm also announced the appointment of Rachel Guan as Senior Principal & Head of Asia Institutional.
Ms. Guan brings 15 years of experience in global private markets fundraising and investor coverage. Ms. Guan was most recently serving as Partner and Head of Asia at a global placement agent and advisory firm where she focused on capital raising across institutional investors in the region. At Dawson, she will be responsible for leading the Firm’s relationships with existing and prospective investors across Asia-Pacific.
Yulhee Kim, who has been with Dawson for over six years, will relocate to Hong Kong to work alongside Ms. Guan and help further strengthen the Firm’s presence in the region.
As we enter our second decade, this expansion marks an important milestone in the continued evolution of Dawson as a global firm. Building on the successful establishment of our offices in Toronto, New York and London, Hong Kong represents a natural next step as we further develop our global platform and remain close to our investors across regions.
Dawson has built a global platform recognized for its innovation in structured solutions across private markets. We have seen sustained interest from Asia-Pacific investors over time, and expanding our presence in the region allows us to more consistently engage with that demand and further strengthen our long-term partnerships.
Building a truly global capital raising platform has been a priority for the Firm. With Rachel’s leadership and Yulhee’s experience, we believe we are well positioned to deepen our relationships across Asia-Pacific, while continuing to scale our investor base in a disciplined and consistent way.
Dawson’s Hong Kong office will serve as a regional hub dedicated to investor engagement, supporting the Firm’s broader capital raising efforts across its global platform.
