TORONTO, July 14, 2026 – Dawson Partners, a global alternative asset manager (“Dawson” or the “Firm”), is pleased to announce the closing of a US$1.8 billion structured liquidity solution with a long-standing institutional partner.
The transaction provides a structured liquidity solution to the counterparty to enable the counterparty to accelerate liquidity and tactically reallocate their portfolio, while sharing in any future upside. The portfolio consists of a diversified private assets portfolio with a net asset value of over US$1.8 billion across 30 fund interests and more than 500 underlying assets.
Designed as an alternative to a traditional secondary sale, Dawson’s structured solution provides the institutional partner with liquidity while maintaining alignment with the long-term performance of the portfolio through the ability to participate in potential future upside.
“This transaction highlights our ability to bring innovative solutions to our counterparties, supported by exposure to a high-quality, well-diversified portfolio,” said Giorgio Riva, Partner at Dawson. “We are pleased to have worked with an institution we’ve built a long and trusted partnership with to deliver a solution designed around their objectives, while maintaining alignment and downside protection.”
“This transaction reflects Dawson’s differentiated positioning in the market, providing customized liquidity solutions at scale to high-quality institutional counterparties,” said Yann Robard, Managing Partner at Dawson. “We continue to believe that scale matters in this market. Our ability to move with speed and certainty across complex private markets portfolios allows us to be a nimble, responsive and reliable partner, with a partnership-first mentality.”
The transaction reinforces Dawson’s position as a scaled provider of private markets structured liquidity solutions and reflects continued demand from institutional investors for flexible capital solutions that can help address portfolio management, liquidity and long-term exposure objectives.
